As we head back into the crowd and head into the Fourth of July holiday doctors are still concerned about one thing vaccines. Vaccination rates across the state are still low and the demand is falling.
We’re about a week away from July Fourth. That was President Biden’s goal date to have 70 percent of adults vaccinated. The country including Georgia and South Carolina won’t meet that deadline which concerns some health experts as the Delta variant spreads.
Gov. Henry McMaster’s decision to end the COVID-19 state of emergency in South Carolina also ended the emergency provision allowing grocery and other stores to deliver beer and wine to people picking up their purchases in a parking lot or a drive thru window.
