AUGUSTA, G.A. (WRDW/WAGT) -- There are some healthy ways to eat when folks travel.
But, there are ways you can substitute sweets for healthier sweets. Fruit for example (dried fruit/and apples/oranges hold up well in travel), are another option, especially if you have time. Folks can also pack some banana bread/zucchini bread. Another option is honey nut butter.
Do you have time for something crunchy? Some options to choose from are crunchy chickpeas, or folks can get some dried snap peas.
Several other choices are the wrap, and then there are hummus cups, dippers in dressing/mason jar, Greek yogurt, tuna, hard boiled eggs, cheese, pasta salad, Capresse sticks and edamame.
